CALIFORNIA SHUTTERS BALANCE STYLE AND FUNCTION

Clean And Classic

I love the look of California shutters. They are both practical and pretty, offering the perfect balance between function and style. I have white California shutters in all my bedrooms and find them versatile and easy to use. My windows are very ordinary and rather old. They are in reasonable condition but are not very attractive. The California shutters elevate the window areas by covering the window frames completely on the inside. When the louvers are closed, the shutters do an excellent job of keeping the bedroom cool and dark, even during the daytime. They also conjure up wistful memories of happy vacations by the ocean and that is never a bad thing.

EASILY ADJUSTABLE

Shutters usually hinge in the middle and can be fully opened to allow maximum light into your living areas, but one of their great benefits is the easy adjustability of the louvers. These can be moved to different angles in order to filter the light according to your wishes, without the need for dangling strings like conventional blinds. If you want to enjoy the view, tilt the louvers to a fully horizontal position. If you require a little more privacy, tilt them halfway. The addition of shutters to your Pasadena home can make a considerable difference to keeping your house cooler during the summer months by deflecting direct sunlight. This is turn can reduce your cooling bills.

BUILT TO LAST

Unlike other window coverings, shutters are more of a permanent fixture in your home. Correctly installed by an experienced Pasadena shutter company, they can last for years. The louvers are easy to clean and are not huge dust collectors anyway, making them a good choice for allergy sufferers. Shutters do not fade unlike drapes or shades and somehow never seem to go out of style.

ANY SHAPE OR SIZE

Shutters come in a large variety of panel configurations that allow them to be installed on almost any window size and shape. They are hinged in the window openings and open fully allowing maximum access to the window. Measuring correctly is very important and should be done by an experienced shutter contractor to ensure a good fit.
